This one was a farce, new, only run a couple hours, so damn near new right out of the box... a "Truck Avenger" (another marketed with a spooky name P.O.S. that is all too common today and costs a small fortune to buy new), with their fuel-spurting check valves in the main wells, machining debris inside of it and blocking some circuit passages, and the icing on the cake was it's loose boosters...
Didn't even bother to suggest remedying this nonsense, but instead to replace the main body with a 1970 LIST-3310 780cfm (down-leg boosters) and standard appropriately calibrated Holley primary and secondary metering blocks... "Works great and goes like hell too now!" was the feedback that I received from the 460-powered off-road Ford truck owner...
