As received, missing choke mechanism...
Some modifications needed to turn this race-calibrated 2-barrel into a friendly street carburetor... and really needing a good clean up...
0.040" bleeds (that get air from the main air bleeds) up high into the main wells ((now blocked with epoxy) that worked with main well tubes that had four drilled through 0.024" e-holes, about 1/16" above and below float level), and 0.028" booster kill bleeds (normally for down-leg boosters... this carburetor has straight-leg boosters) blocked with epoxy. Drilled and tapped 6-32 for traditional Holley e-holes and low position IFR's...
Blocked 0.028" constant idle feeds below the transfer slots with tapped in lead...
Refurbished base plate...
Blocked idle air bypass throat holes that infringed upon idle air:fuel from mixture screws with 1/8" brass tubing...
Added adjustable idle air bleeds...
Added adjustable idle feed restrictions and traditional "e-bleeds" to take the place of the removed "e-tubes" from the main wells...
Added a full manifold vacuum nipple, where there was a place for one, but wasn't one, with a length of brass tubing...
Metering block main and idle wells open and clean and clear...
Calibration to be...
0.046" PVCRs should be "safe rich". 0.040" and 0.034" PVCRs to be included for tuning WOT...

Probably was used on some sort of V8 race engine. You can see lines in the throttle bores where the idle speed was cranked open more than what is usual. Usual idle speed throttle plate position would only show small squares of the transfer slots below the throttle plates at idle...
